Alright, time for a small update.

I'm chilling at my friends house, on the eve of one of my friends b-days. Tomorrow we will be heading out for fun, excitement and no doubt, crazy adventures!

Although I am still healing from the lose of my beloved ratti Maxwell, I have taken in a new rat. I am still adjusting to his unique temperament, but I already love the little bugger. He is a blue rat named Walken or CW after a certain actor I like. :D Hopefully I will have as many, if not more, happy memories with him as I did my Maxi. Though, no one will ever replace Maxi in my heart.

Other than that, I'm trying to get my driver's license and do some writing... I know... I lead an exciting life over here.

I think I might give myself a goal of walking to the library more often to use the internet. This way, I can stay in contact with my friends easier and exercise!

Another funny Walken Clip

R.I.P.

  • Apr. 27th, 2009 at 9:26 AM

Last night I came home from work and found out that my dear friend Maxi was dead. He had been a having some health issues, but I thought he was getting better. Yesturday before I left he had been very sluggish, but it was still very shocking to find him like that. I can't remember the last time I cried this hard over loosing a pet. I loved him and I already miss him so much.

Here are some of the last pictures I took of him. These were taken about three days ago... he was feeling a little frisky after recovering from some eye issues. He loved it when I sat on my bed with him and played video games.

You will be missed Maxwell! You'll always be in my heart!

Invasion of the Stick Beings?

  • Apr. 17th, 2009 at 3:15 PM

Below are videos of strange, little, stick people walking around in public. The first one shows a figuring walking through someones front yard at night. The second video shows someone standing in the woods and then just to the right of the screen (the man's left), you see a little figure walk by.

Hoax thanks to the digital age? Or something more? You decided! I am inclined to believe it was something real... at least in the first one. There is something very natural about the way these things move....

Fresno, California

Santa Rosa de Quives near Lima, Peru

The website I got them from: http://forgetomori.com/2009/skepticism/attack-of-the-stick-figure-aliens/

While I can not speak to the credibility of this site, I can say that the man she mentions Whitley Strieber, is well respected and talked about these cases on his own show. I put a lot of faith in what he says, because time and time again he has proven that he is honest and creditable. He is a down to earth person who is experiencing extraordinary things that are beyond our scope of understanding.

Click on the link and then watch the video. In the video, which is just a collect of pictures to music as a man talks about what the test is about, your subconscious will be exposed to hidden messages to choose a specific color. The test is to see if you will listen.

Then you are supposed to click on the circle with the color you believe you were supposed to pick.

I picked yellow... what will you pick?

-ism

  • Mar. 25th, 2009 at 11:16 PM

According to NRC/GOP and the cronies that follow them, Obama is now practicing...

Socialism

Communism

Collectivism

Marxism

Fascism

and

McCarthyism.

I agree with the video... soon they are going to run out of -isms.

Here are definitions of each word, see if you think Obama matches up! )

I know where most of these (most likely) dittoheads, get the notion that these terms apply to President Obama. It's because of his desire to do things like... Universal Health Care.

If we are going to base these terms on Obama because of Universal Health Care, then we need to put countries like Canada and Europe in there too... because they have been enjoying Universal Health Care for a loooooong time.

Now I know it's not a perfect system, I'm not blogging about this to argue Healthcare (Even though personally I support it, since I am one of the millions of Americans with no health care, it would be nice to have some)... just that these terms are unjustly used.

Look at the highlighted sections and you will see over and over again about how these principles focus on the lost of individual rights. I know Obama has spoken about making the government take over control of major business' and corporation... again this is not the same thing!

One of the biggest reasons we are in the shit hole we find ourselves in right now (though thankfully it is getting some what better), is because of DEREGULATION! Throughout his administration, Bush deregulated the way money was handled in the banks, which lead to the collapse in our economy.

Reestablishing those regulations, that need to be there for a reason, DOES NOT mean you are a socialist.

I again, point out the parts I highlighted... you know what country sounds like those things up there? No surprise... places like China. Where people can't Google anything their hearts desire because the country forces censorship on them.

That is taking away individual freedom.

If Obama really was those things up there, do you think he would be fighting for Net Neutrality? Which focus' more on us (the little people) and not the control big cable and phone companies have?

Finally....

As relieved as I am to see that someone is finally saying something like that...it's more than slightly depressing at the same time. It's such an ugly mark on an already horrible situation. May God (or whatever is out there) have mercy on us....

Literary Note

  • Mar. 19th, 2009 at 4:41 PM

I have been obsessively reading "North and South" the first of three books in a series by John Jakes. I highly recommend the book...it's fantastic. You don't have to be a history buff to loose yourself into the lives of his characters. John Jakes draws you into the rich story and makes it hard for you to put the book down. I am anxiously looking for a copy of the second and third book so I can continue reading. For those of us that can't do books, there is always the amazing movies they made... just make sure you get the series with Patrick Swayze in it. It's long, but well worth the effort.

Anyways... I was reading some more of it when I came upon this little quote:

"Never let me hear that you're impressed with Old Buck. We're Republicans now. The president is the enemy."

For those of you that have never seen the movies, read the books, of even heard about the story... it takes place before, during and after the Civil War. Book one if before the Civil War and at this particular point, right when the Republican Party was first born.

I just thought that it was ironic that a character, fictional it may be, should make such a comment. Here we are... in an economic crisis and real Republicans are saying the same thing.

There might be some similarities between the two moments in our nations history, what with all the fear and tension of both times. But it frightens me to think that people really do find our president an enemy.

Brainless Fun

  • Mar. 13th, 2009 at 1:54 PM

Alright, this has been bothering me for a while now. I admit, sometimes I need a little brainless fun. Hence why I turn to Bam for entertainment. I also indulge in some celebrity gossip.... specifically Perez Hilton. Now aside from some of his more annoying comments (such as his unending dedication to the horror that is Posh Spice/Victoria Beckham, Modanna, and ridiculous fashion and Lady GaGa...) he is obsessed with Zac Efron and Robert Pattinson. He recently posed the question of which we would rather have? (He voted for Zachiquisha as he likes to call Mr. High School Musical.) So I thought, what the hell... who would you rather have?

Zac Effron:

Now Zac definitely brings the pretty, but there is something about this pretty boy that just annoys me. Then again, he is but a baby in my eyes, even if I'm not an old lady myself. I just can't vote for Zac... he's too superficial for my taste.

Robert Pattinson

Oh puuuuleaze.... this dude is so not sexy in my book. There is something about his typical "look" that makes me want to put a little bubble next to his head that says: "Dude... did you say something about munchies? Man..I'm so hungry.... I shouldn't have smoked that third bowl before coming to the premiere." But then again that is just me.

So you can vote for these two douches... I mean... n'idiots.... I mean... actors... or vote in the "other category" which is where my vote is going. When I was making my hottie list I sadly forgot my love of the Food network. My favorite guy is going to be my vote in this debate...

I think Geof from Ace of Cakes (far left) is a lot more attractive then tween boy and whats-his-face up there. There is always....

I love the Republican Party's never ending hypocricy.

Then again, if you want something funny... just read about the whole Steele situation. Way to lead the anti-abortion party by saying that the issue of abortion is really an individual's choice.

This came from one of my personal favorite website. It's about gamers, so some of it I don't even understand... but some of it is quite funny. Like this little ditty here. :D Some of their work is a little on the...risky side, but I don't think it's anything that my lovely little fans/friends couldn't handle. Enjoy! If you want more, you can go here...http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2009/3/9/ I might just post some more of my favorites here if people like them.

I realized after posting this that the image is a little on the small side. Just click on it and it will show up bigger.
