My first placement is offically over, and while I am both sad to leave and anxious to move on to my next placement, I am well aware of how I have changed in the last few months. One thing is for sure, I have neglected my internet buddies! I've missed everyone! Please know the pain and suffering has been worth it. Here are some quotes from my 5th grade students, taken from their 'thank you' cards....
"I am very sad you are going away. I've well, not just me the whole class learned so much from you and your amazing fun teaching skills."
"Your a great student teacher and you'r going to be a great teacher. Thank you for playing games with us."
"Thank you for being our student teacher you were literally one of the best it was a great time learning, math, social studies, and science with you. I had a great time it was so FUN. Have a great life."
"Thank you for being generous with your time and teaching and playing games and "math" lessons. We learned so much. I will miss Matthews."
"Good Bye Haveing you Here was GREAT."
"Thanks for helping me with my work and know I'm getting alot better grades I couldn't ask for a better student teacher."
"We are so upset that your leaving us. Your gonna make a great teacher someday. Go for your DREAMS!"
"You did a great job in our class! I hope you do good later in your career."
"A riddle for u. Who is the one that is awsome, amazing and, thoughtful full of love and caring... (on the inside) its you."
And one of my final ones simply said: "Don't go" with a big frowning face. :(

So for the next few days I can relax... save for getting my unit plan finished... grrr...
p.s. I feel like a hypocrit grading my students grammar and spelling here, when I messed up students' and writing on facebook. xD I rock!
